testimonials

Jvawnna took the time to review and edit my resume to ensure it was more targeted toward industry positions vs. consulting, my previous field. Once I secured interviews for my dream role as a result of her coaching, she worked with me to showcase my skills and gave secret strategies that wowed every interview panel I participated in. She was always honest and straightforward and never held anything back. I was nervous about transitioning from consulting to industry but working with Jvawnna gave me the guidance and confidence I needed. I was hired into a new industry role, doubled my salary and now I have the freedom to enjoy a sense of work life balance in my career thanks to Jvawnna and her services."

"She is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to level up in their careers and ‘secure the bag'!

From the moment I met Jvawnna Bell at an Impact 100 Young Philanthropist’s brunch in May 2019, I knew that I wanted her to speak with my SUMR Scholars. SUMR stands for Summer Undergraduate Minority Research (SUMR) Program and is a pipeline program providing undergraduate minority and first generation college students from all over the country an opportunity to work on health research projects alongside University of Pennsylvania and Wharton School of Business faculty with the goal to inspire them to pursue a career in health services research. These students are hungry to learn, and figure out their futures. Jvawnna has served as a SUMR speaker ever since.

Jvawnna is extremely accomplished, relatable, articulate, open, and honest. She explains her own career path, with her own uncertainties and changes along the way, and the importance of following through on your commitments, and paying it forward. Several of the students have reached out to her to continue the conversation and have grown from her mentorship. She has a high-powered job in corporate America, runs a global foundation, mutiple businesses, and serves on several non-profit boards. I cannot think of a more inspirational person... I've never seen a room of people not feel moved or unchanged after Jvawnna speaks. She has a true gift for helping others plan and pivot in their careers while simutaneously teaching them the importance of being intentional about creating joy and fulfillment."

I was first connected to Jvawnna in the Summer of 2020 when I graduated from university feeling very lost and confused. Jvawnna had a warm and inviting presence about her that allowed me to be vulnerable and transparent with her regarding my career aspirations and worries. This marked the beginning of our mentor-mentee relationship that has since blossomed into a friendship. Throughout the Summer, Jvawnna was relentless in helping me navigate potential career paths in healthcare, which I identified as a passion of mine. Through Jvawnna, I had the privilege to be connected to numerous executives in various fields such as digital health, market access, HEOR, and healthcare consulting. This afforded me the opportunity to gain insight about these career paths and helped me to narrow down what interested me most and where my strengths would be most useful.

By the Fall of 2020, Jvawnna played a pivotal role in helping me decide what schools and programs to apply to based on my interests and strengths. Additionally, Jvawnna helped me to perfect my master’s applications by editing my personal statements and resume. As of today I have been offered admission into one of my top choices to complete my Masters in Public Health, and I can’t thank Jvawnna enough for her guidance. Throughout this whole journey, Jvawnna has endlessly encouraged me and instilled in me that I have the potential to create value and impact in this world as long as I apply and believe in myself. Having Jvawnna in my corner has been a blessing and I am eternally grateful. "

Fast-forwarding to 6 months later, I started looking for full-time employment opportunities and I kept the promise I made to myself to contact Jvawnna once this journey would start. She replied within minutes and did not hesitate to set up a call that same week to review my CV. Since that first call, Jvawnna has been so instrumental in my entire job search journey. From connecting me to recruiters and to her rich network, to sharing numerous opportunities she had, to scheduling hour-long mock interviews, teaching me how to negotiate offers and salaries, to praying together and joining last minute ‘emergency’ calls, she is gifted with the ability to navigate this system and guided me with extreme positivity! Not to mention that she was aware of my tight timeline to get a role and through her services, I received a job offer on the deadline that we set! I learned so much about corporate America and pharma while working with her and I am so grateful!

To anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and start working with Jvawnna now! You will not only achieve your goals in a timely manner, but you will also gain an honest and genuine friend who wants you to succeed!"

"Jvawnna definitely goes the extra mile and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to break into the life science industry!

I was first introduced to Jvawnna during her HEOR career webinar last year. She was very encouraging and seemed enthusiastic about helping people. As an early-career professional, I knew I would stand to benefit from her advice and breadth of experience. In the time I've worked with her, Jvawnna has been instrumental in my pursuit of career opportunities. She has walked me through each step, from identifying roles, CV development, interview prep, all the way to salary negotiations and offers. She took the time to carefully sit down with me and assess where I am in my career and how to navigate the next steps."
